A hundred years ago, the Old Market of Omaha, Nebraska, would have been the ideal place to shop if you were looking for a railroad car full of fruit. This warehouse center on the west bank of the Missouri River was once a major link between the East and West. When the railroad era came to a close 40 years ago, Sam Mercer had the vision to renovate his family's red brick warehouses and open a new era for the Old Market. Today, art galleries, coffee bars, pubs, and shops occupy this historic district. Come and visit Omaha's Old Market, and stop in at Overland for our fine selection of clothing, outerwear, and accessories for all lifestyles.
The first Overland Sheepskin opened in 1973 in a small adobe storefront in Taos, New Mexico, offering sheepskin apparel made with meticulous craftsmanship. More than 40 years, 16 more stores, and one thriving internet business later, the small family shop atmosphere has remained the backbone of our business, a passion for quality matched with exceptional service.
