Shipping Rates

Overland ships all orders free via standard ground shipping to all 50 states and APO/FPO addresses. Some items automatically qualify for free 2-Day domestic shipping, as noted on their product page.

Orders of in-stock items received before 3:00 p.m. Central Time will typically ship out that same day. Please allow 3–7 days for delivery on U.S. Standard Ground orders.

For expedited shipping or deliveries to U.S. Territories and international locations, please refer to the shipping rate chart below.

Please note that 3-Day, 2-Day, and Next Day refer to the shipper's service level from the time the order is shipped, and refers to business days only (no Saturday, Sunday, or holiday delivery on express shipping). For example:

  • An order of in-stock product placed prior to 3:00 p.m. with 2-Day service will ship that same day and arrive 2 business days later.
  • An order of in-stock product placed after 3:00 p.m. with 2-Day service will ship the following business day and arrive 2 business days after that (i.e., 3 business days after placing the order).

For expedited shipping of large rugs to the 48 contiguous states, a $50 per rug surcharge for 3-Day, $100 for 2-Day, and $200 for Next Day is applied. For expedited shipping of large rugs to Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Protectorates, there is an additional $100 shipping charge per large rug.

All shipping times are subject to weather delays; Overland is not responsible for delayed deliveries due to weather.

FedEx Hold at Location

Shipping to a FedEx Hold at Location allows you to ship to a predetermined FedEx location near you instead of your own address.

This keeps your package conveniently safe until you are ready to pick it up, and enables receipt of Signature Required packages when you will not be home.

Locations include FedEx Office stores as well as many pharmacies, convenience, and grocery stores (e.g. Walgreens, Dollar General, Office Depot, etc.)

When the shipment arrives, you will have 7 days to pick it up. You'll just need to bring a government-issued ID and tracking number.

California Fur Ban

As of 1/1/23, the state of California has banned the sale or shipment of products containing most types of fur, and these cannot be sold or shipped to California addresses. Leather, wool, and sheepskin are exempt and can be sold or shipped to California with no issues.


Returns

Return ground shipping is free for U.S. orders within the 50 states via either Fedex or UPS. Outbound express charges, oversized rug surcharges, or international shipping charges from the initial order are not refunded on returns or exchanges. U.S. Sales Tax

Overland charges sales taxes on orders as required. The amount of tax charged is based on current tax rates in effect and these rates are subject to change at any time. Shipping charges, if applicable, may also be subject to sales tax in certain states. Gift cards purchased from Overland.com or at an Overland store are not taxable.


International Orders

Overland welcomes international customers. Depending on the order and destination, various additional shipping fees and payment requirements apply.

For ALL international orders:

  • Large rugs incur a $100 per item shipping surcharge.
  • Some items and/or destinations may incur an additional shipping surcharge.
  • Some furs may incur a US government export fee of $93.
  • PayPal orders can only be shipped to the address provided, and cannot be changed afterwards.
  • If an international package is refused or abandoned for any reason, Overland does not refund the merchandise or shipping charges.
  • Overland does not pay return shipping on refunds or exchanges (and the latter will incur another set of outbound shipping charges), nor are initial outbound order shipping charges or surcharges refunded.
  • If the billing address is outside of the United States, checkout should be completed via PayPal.
  • Recipient is responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, or brokerage fees (not included in our shipping charges)—please consult your local customs office for more details. Overland is not responsible for any of these charges.

Although we try our best to deliver your items during the estimated timeframe, international shipping is subject to many variables and delivery dates are not guaranteed.
