Deceptive photography
being that i am not a sheepskin rug aficionado, i was not aware that perhaps the Tibetan lamb did not have thickness in its fur as its friend, the Australian sheep. I have experienced both now so i kinda know what I'm talking about. the picture they have for the Tibetan makes it "appear" that the rug is thick (for lack of a better word) due to it's "puffed up" placement from midsection towards the headboard. The pelt is super thin. However, it has got to be the softest thing i have ever touched. It just doesn't have the oomph that the Aussie does. Again, i do not know rugs at all...(fade out to Judy Collin's singing 'I don't know clouds at all')
