Gia Reversible Sheepskin Coat

I am 5'8" and usually up-size my outerwear so that I can fit jackets and sweaters underneath. I purchased an XL and I feel it is just right. I don't care that it is not fitted but rather has a boxy fit. I love the fit and am very impressed with the sleeve length. I especially love how the print is automatically exposed on the cuffs when you reverse the coat to the suede textured side. - No need to fold the cuffs to expose the print. The nap on the printed side is extraordinary. The pictures simply do not do the textured print side of this coat justice. The overall color of both sides is quite pleasing, very rich and deep. I look forward to using this coat absolutely forever. I highly recommend this coat.

This coat is PERFECT in style and warmth. I am 5ft 3in, 135lbs and I live in Alaska. I have regular length arms, petites are too short. I bought the small because XS is out but I'm actually pretty happy with the fit since it's meant to be a little more dramatic/slouchy than fitted. Would I have preferred XS? Yes, unfortunately I missed this coat until now. Am I sad? No, the small is great still. I've been hunting a leopard print sheepskin coat for a few years now and nothing is enough to handle winter here. I'm pretty indoorsy during this season so my outside wear is not more than just running to the car and into whatever store I'm at but this one really keeps the wind out! I gave it a 4(4.5 would be more accurate)only because the nice wooden hanger it arrived with was broken (the box was completely intact so I'm not sure what happened) and the moment I pulled out the coat and reversed it to try on, the pocket ripped from the sheepskin. I'm not violently hard on my garments but I did not expect it to rip that easily. I sincerely hope that sale doesn't mean outlet discount lackluster goods. I check the corners of the internet every few months and while I've seen their black and leopard combos(beautiful but I needed brown), this was the first time I saw the Gia and bought it within 24 hours of seeing it. In person the leather is a little more cool toned beige to me than the photos online but it's still flawless. I did contact Overland late last night and they've already responded offering to replace the coat or return it. Less than 12 hours of non-business hours is pretty impressive. The coat itself feels durable however and very luxurious. It was -11F with high winds last night when I stood outside to test it and it blocked that out pretty fantastically. I hope that the pocket was a one off and that I can love this coat for decades to come because she's about to become my whole identity.

The Gia reversible coat is gorgeous. Truly eye catching. It looks great with jeans and if you want a dressy vibe flip it inside out to the all leopard print. For size reference, I am 5'4" 126 pounds. I generally wear a size small, but purchased the XS and the fit is perfect. This is my third Overland purchase; I have a pair of their sheepskin shoes and gloves and I am very impressed with their quality.

This coat is gorgeous-the print is rich, the shawl collar is beautifully done, and I love that it is reversible, which makes it far more wearable. It's also extremely warm and feels very luxe. The fit is intentionally oversized, which gives it a bold, edgy, fashion-forward look. On me (5'7", size 8-10), it looks great and is fun to wear. I like styling it with the sleeves rolled for a sportier vibe or left long for a more dramatic look. The collar stands up nicely and really frames the face. That said, the fit is roomy through the upper body, which is part of what gives this coat its distinctive, fashion-forward look. It's meant to feel relaxed rather than tailored, and that extra volume is what makes it stand out and feel so cool and modern. It looks great dressed up or with jeans. If you enjoy bold, statement outerwear with attitude, this coat really delivers.

I was so excited to see a shorter leopard print coat; I have the Stevie, which is full length, and I don't get to wear it much because it's so very warm. But its huge compared with the size chart. You'll want to budget for alterations too, as the sleeves are way too long, The GOOD: gorgeous color/leopard print, the shawl collar is nice, and I LOVE that it reverses to brown instead of black. (My only complaint about the Stevie is that it reverses to black; it would look so much nicer if it was brown). The BAD: this coat runs HUGE and is also cut kind of boxy. I'm exchanging it for the next size down and hoping it will fit. But I'd say the bust is about 4" larger than the sizing chart. The sleeves are also way too long, I looked like a child wearing her mother's coat. The sleeves extended down onto my hands and covered most of my palms. If the smaller size fits, I think i can roll them up for the rest of this winter, and then I guess I'll see if i can find someone who can alter a sheepskin coat.
