Hello! As this rug can probably sustain wet feet, and many other customers have used our Sheepskin rugs as a bath mat, I wouldn't recommend it. Only because, over time, the quality of the fur, the softness, can lessen, because of the high traffic and water. This rug, as far as cleaning it, will require spot cleaning when needed. For tougher stains, you can use cornstarch or baking soda. You can use a vacuum as well as long as you are using the upholstery attachment. When it gets wet, we always recommend that you would only let it air dry, without heat or sunlight. You will also be supplied a wire brush that will help bring the fur back to like as well. I hope this information helps!
