Minimum pile height is a luxurious 2.5 inches. Made of fine Australian sheepskin and crafted in either China or New Zealand.

Beautiful Rug, seamless process

This rug is absolutely beautiful! It is thick and soft and exactly as pictured. It is a little shy of 4 feet wide, but that feels expected considering these are real animal pelts. I love the top color, and the rug at the perfect cozy feel to my room.

A lot more comfortable than I thought

I was a little bit skeptical, I've never purchased sheepskins before. I'm amazed with how comfortable it is my dog has night terrors now that he's older and demands that he sleeps in the same room as my; but my bed is too small so I got it for him and for me in the winter. I live in the north east so it can get pretty chilly. After the first brush a small amount of hair came out, and I haven't noticed too much shedding in general from it. It does have a tiny bit of a smell to it I kind of expected that since it's an animal. It doesn't bother me and doesn't smell unpleasant or bad just has a smell.
