A Step Above the Rest

The Merino Difference

Our slippers are made with Australian Merino, the softest and finest sheepskin available anywhere. It's harder to come by, but it makes our slippers the world's coziest.

Cloudlike Cushioning

Performance components like impact-absorbing memory foam provide cloudlike cushioning—and the ultimate in comfort and relaxation. You’ll feel the difference with every step.

We've been handcrafting our legendary, genuine sheepskin slippers for more than 45 years. We're confident you'll love their luxuriously soft feel, and we hope they'll bring you comfort for many years to come.

Care Instructions

Keep your slippers looking as good as new. Spot clean the outside as needed with a damp cloth, and gently use a suede brush to rejuvenate the slippers’ exterior. Sheepskin slippers should never be put in the washing machine.

Sheepskin contains lanolin, a natural antibacterial that controls odors. To keep your slippers extra fresh, you can sprinkle a bit of baking soda inside now and then and let sit overnight. Gently vacuum the interior the next morning and wear as usual. Another tip: put your slippers in the freezer for 24–48 hour to deodorize (trust us, it works!).

Quick Tips

Avoid rubbing or brushing wet sheepskin
Keep away from high heat sources
Store in breathable bags or shoe boxes

Not necessarily buy these slippers but prefer other styles

these slippers are narrow and do not have much support. But they are indeed warm. The soles are soft and I think they would be slippery to walk on floors. I prefer slippers that have better soles that are non slip.

Beautiful but too difficult to get on without socks.

Excellent, warm, soft, comfy

We first visited Overland Sheepskin in the late 70s / early 80s, in Boulder, CO, then in Taos, then for years at the Larimer Square shop in Denver, and also in Santa Fe. Very nice products, all round, including these slippers.

The best slippers!

I bought my first pair of these about 10 years ago on a trip through Jackson Hole and they were finally wearing out. I tracked them down travelling through Colorado this time and I'm sure they'll last many years again. Well worth the price for the quality and comfort.

Warmest, nicest slippers ever!

This is my second pair, the first were worn out over 8 years of constant use and even some bulldog abuse. I'll never own a different slipper!

Just what I wanted!

Cozy, comfy, soft-soled, well-fitting...I love them! My old sheepskin slippers had fallen apart, and I feared it was too late in the season to get new ones. But these are perfect!

Perfect At Home Comfort!

When I get home each evening, I go straight for these Sheepskin Slippers! They hug my feet with warmth and comfort, and I spend the evening with toasty warm feet instead of two blocks of ice! Order a size larger than your normal shoe. They run a little short. I called and chatted with a sales rep, who advised that when I told her I like my slippers to run a little big so I can wear heavy wool socks with them. I like the soft soles, too. Why would I want a hard sole on a house slipper that will never go outside?

Warmth and Comfort

Loved my UGG slippers, but they had worn out and the style no longer made by UGG. I saw these slippers on line and thought they looked nice. Since I received them, they haven't left my feet, only to go outside when I have to put on shoes! I will buy Overland Slippers again!

Not so much

No, the collar doesn't really roll up, unless you want to see untanned hide with numbers scrawled on it. And what wizard decided that inside, under the arch, would be a good place for a stiff label? Lack of attention to detail compromises what could otherwise be a good product.
