Care Instructions

Keep your slippers looking as good as new. Spot clean the outside as needed with a damp cloth, and gently use a suede brush to rejuvenate the slippers’ exterior. Sheepskin slippers should never be put in the washing machine.

Sheepskin contains lanolin, a natural antibacterial that controls odors. To keep your slippers extra fresh, you can sprinkle a bit of baking soda inside now and then and let sit overnight. Gently vacuum the interior the next morning and wear as usual. Another tip: put your slippers in the freezer for 24–48 hour to deodorize (trust us, it works!).

Store in breathable bags or shoe boxes

is the insole removable and replaceable? When the wool gets worn down after some years wear, it's nice to be able to replace just the bottom insole with another like it - hopefully from the same company

Answer:

The insole is not able to be removed. But you can insert a sheepskin insole when these get worn down. We do carry those as well.

Lasting quality and warmth

Quality of Merino shearling And workmanship makes these slippers, not only warm and comfortable, yet they outwear and last longer than other brands I've worn before. I like the lightweight sole Which protects the slippers if I need to go outside For something. I will buy these Emma slippers again after however many years it takes me to wear these out.

I would not recommend their slippers

Unfortunately I would not recommend their slippers. There really is no support in them at all, they seem cheaply made, which is so odd because I have been a loyal customer of Overland for years with their jackets and coats which are so incredible. I just can't recommend the slippers. Sorry!

My 2nd pair

These are the most comfortable slippers. I wear them year round without sweaty feet in the summer and in the winter my feet stay warm.

If it weren't for the plastic soles...

I would have loved these slippers 100% if it weren't for the plastic soles. They make so much noise on our hardwood floors. I ordered these slippers thinking they'd be just like the ones I ordered for my husband. They look the same, but his have soft, quiet leather soles. That's what I wanted. So I'm a bit disappointed.

Warm and stylish!

I love these slippers! The sheepskin keeps my feet warm, and the Black Cherry color is beautiful! It's nice to be able to turn the cuffs up when my ankles are cold. I received a pair like these about 6 years that I wore almost daily until the sheepskin insole wore down. The exterior was still in great shape.I would like a more supportive footbed, and a removable insole that could be replaced as it wears down. The slippers are true to size. I didn't find the toe box to be snug or narrow as some customers stated. I wear a size 8B. The size 8 slippers fit perfectly. Shipping was fast. I will order from Overland again in the future.

great quality

I wear a half size and I ordered the smaller instead of going up one. They still are comfortable and feel they will stretch over time. If I were to reorder I would go up the 1/2. Really nice and warm. Just what I was looking for. They were expensive, but great quality.

Best slippers ever!

I am so glad I ordered these slippers. I love the color and they are super comfortable and warm. The sole is sturdy enough for outdoors but I don't plan to wear these outdoors if I can help it. The shearling "collar" can fold up or stay down, so additional warmth option.
