Women's Overland Abigail Fleece-Lined Leather Ankle Boots

the boots look great, exactly as described but one slight issue....first time wearing, i noticed that each step i took, the insoles of the boots would make a very loud squeak. I called the overland company to see if anyone else complained of this, they were surprised to hear about it and they said no other complaints thus far. I am regrettably going to have to ship them back:-(

I will be wearing these boots to Nashville, TN to see my grandson. They are very comfortable. Look good with boot cut jeans and skinny. The leather is awesome.

I bought these for casual wear during rain/snow. I ordered 7.5 which runs true to size. I really like the side zipper for easy on/off and I like the fleece lining. I do have to say the top of the toe box is very tight that it was hard to wear them with a regular sock (felt like a vice was pressing down on top of toes), but wearing them with a thin sock there was a lot of extra room around the ankle and the shoe felt sloshy. They don't have much foot padding so they are not very comfortable for all day wear. I also noticed that as I wore them for only a couple of hours they started getting some sort of white lines on top the leather, almost like the leather was old and getting ready to crack but they didn't (hard to explain). I was really looking forward to falling in love with them, but hopefully they will grow on me. I've decided to keep them because I already wore them outside and I don't have any snow/rain boots and hopefully they will stretch in the toe box.
