too bulky on the head to be elegant

Lovely in the photograph. Extremely soft. But doubles the side of the head. I have had Russian shearling products (probably made in Turkey) where the hats were more graceful and less bulky. This hat is huge. Would be practical for warmth on hikes and in snow storms but not stylish enough for work or for evening engagements.

Love this hat!

I am a commuter who uses public transportation and this keeps my head and ears toasty warm on those brutally cold days. It is the best hat I've ever purchased for warmth; and it had fabulous style. I get compliments every time I wear it. In fact, I plan to purchase another color for next winter.

Fabulous hat!

I love this hat--keeps my head toasty ! Can be worn above or covering the ears. Only drawback is that the crown is generous and creates a silhouette that's a little bulky. But when the temperature outside is below 45, this is the only hat to wear.
