PRODUCT DETAILS

Trek through the snow with confidence in the Kai boots, crafted with care to protect you from winter’s chill. Made from full-grain cowhide, suede, and boiled wool—with plush genuine shearling and wool lining—these water-resistant boots are built for durability, breathability, and insulation in temps as low as -25° F. In addition to front laces with eyelets and D-rings, they offer rear pull-tabs and inner zippers for easy wear. Supportive thermal rubber wedge soles feature non-slip ice-gripper inserts for when you want extra traction.

This boot is crafted with an intentionally unlined heel, which prevents socks from catching and heels from rubbing, enabling a more secure and comfortable fit.

Poor Fit

If you have wide calves do not buy! I am unable to zipper these boots! I would like to return them, but will give them away! It was a poor decision on my part!

Excellent Quality

These boots are perfect for winter. Merino wool socks & your feet will not sweat if you wear Merino wool socks. These boots are very comfortable. A big Thank You to Amanda & Dianna at the Lake Geneva Overland Store!

Gorgeous and warm!!

The fit of Overland boots always makes my feet happy, and these are wonderfully designed, great aesthetic and so very warm and comfy. Love the added zipper for quick on/off and the colored laces! Glad to get on sale!

Warmth

I really like the style of the boots. They are beautiful boots. However, I specifically purchased these boots for hiking in cold weather. I go hunting with my dad and was needing some new cold weather boots. It was about 32 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 degrees Celsius and after 20 minutes of sitting after hiking a mile, my poor toes were freezing. It was extremely uncomfortable and for the price of the boots, very disappointing. The boots do not do what they claim to do as they are rated for much lower temperatures in the description. In addition, they run small. While they do fit me, there is no room for any merino wool socks or any other cold weather socks for that matter. I purchase the 36, which runs as a 5-5.5. I typically wear a 5.5-6 and a size 36 does normally fit well. If you're planning to wear thicker socks, I recommend sizing up one size.
