Are these boots waterproof?

Thank you for reaching out to Overland, they are not waterproof but are water-resistant

Do they have a Metal shank? I need to go through a metal detector at an airport severe times a day

The Ilka does not have a steel shank.

For the very bottom of the boot, do you use rubber soles? (Or, are they polyurethane?)

The sole is made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR).

How big is the toe box? Any issues for those of us with a bunion?

This is a medium width boot along the footbed. We do offer free returns if the boots don't meet your needs.

Are these boots stuck at 13" circumference, or does that expand with the lacing? I have 15" calves and am curious if I can wear them. Thank you!

The description says 13" shaft, 16" circumference - 13 is the height - circumference means around the calf. Circumference is the length of a circle.

These boots are temperature rated down to 5°F in moderate activity, such as walking.

Gorgeous boots!

These arrived last week and they are gorgeous. I only wish I'd got them earlier in the season as there is little opportunity to wear them now. I still did a lovely walk through the woods in them yesterday, and they are comfortable and toasty warm.

LOVED!!

I absolutely loved the quality, design, and look of these boots! They're beautifully made!! Unfortunately, I have to return them because my feet are a bit wide and the bridge felt just a little too high, so they weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped. The size itself was perfect, so going up a size wouldn't quite solve the fit issue.
