Our weather-ready boot beckons with height and contrast that dazzles with lovely detailing. With a warm wool lining and a treaded TPR sole, the Ilka challenges the elements in a statement design. This striking boot is expertly crafted with water-resistant leather from Italy, and the addition of a wool lining ensures warm, comfortable feet. All details are well considered, from the full length inside the zipper + pull tab for easy on and off to the leather trim with contrasting topstitch detail, and lace-up front design for added style and support.

These boots are temperature rated down to 5°F in moderate activity, such as walking.

This boot is crafted with an intentionally unlined heel, which prevents socks from catching and heels from rubbing, enabling a more secure and comfortable fit.

Several reviews state that the top of the ilka boot stained their jeans/pants. Any solution to this?

Answer:

You can use a Suede protectant on the boots to help with dye transfer. We recommend Kiwi brand.

For the very bottom of the boot, do you use rubber soles? (Or, are they polyurethane?)

The sole is made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR).

This is a medium width boot along the footbed. We do offer free returns if the boots don't meet your needs.

Are these boots stuck at 13" circumference, or does that expand with the lacing? I have 15" calves and am curious if I can wear them. Thank you!

Answer:

The description says 13" shaft, 16" circumference - 13 is the height - circumference means around the calf. Circumference is the length of a circle.

Beautiful and comfortable

These boots are exceptionally well constructed and feel as though they might last a decade or more. They're warm and soft inside and both stylish and sturdy on the exterior. I feel like a serious person walking around in them. Haven't walked long distances so not sure how they feel after a day of walking around. Definitely size up if you're between EU sizes. I'm a US 9.5 and EU 41 fit perfectly.

I haven't worn them out yet but I tried them on and walked around the house I got the blue which I've had my eyes on for awhile. They are beautiful, comfortable, sturdy. I can't wait to wear them this winter.

Exceeded expectations

Bought these in high summer in Park City finally got to wear them in December at home. We recently returned from Iceland and it was 100% still winter there. My feet were warm, dry, comfortable, impeccably stylish and didn't slip once even on wildly uneven and snow/ice covered terrain. Worth every penny!

Best customer service! Absolutely the cutest boots.

First of all, the customer service was amazing. I have a hard time fitting shoes since my foot is so wide and I typically wear a size 7.5. I ordered both sizes and decided on the size 8 instead of the 7 . I returned the seven, and wore the 8 thinking it was best. My foot moved around too much and changed my mind again and reordered the 7. My foot fits like a glove. I just needed to give the boot more time to form to my foot. ( one whole day of wear instead of one hour). The exchange and return process was so fast. Thank you for your patience with me. Can't wait to order more!!
