Women’s Hudson Shearling-Lined Water-Resistant Leather Boots

The boots I ordered while shopping the store in Saratoga arrived just three days later. I can't believe I'm saying this---- I wish it were winter so I could wear them now!!! The sales associate was amazingly competent, knowledgeable and friendly. The outstanding merchandise coupled with stellar service confirm why I love in store purchases!

I wanted a pair of warm, high boots that are water resistant. These fit the bill. They look beautiful. I ordered a size 39. On me the fit around the ankles is a little tighter than I would like and I have slim ankles. The calves on the other hand are way bigger than I would have imagined. Very loose, even with pants tucked in. My legs are slim, but not skinny and I haven't had any issues with other boots I owned previously. If I had the opportunity to try them on in the store, I would not have purchased them because of the way they fit me. I decided to keep them, but for me the fit is not ideal.

Two years ago I purchased the short version of these boots and they are well made, super warm, and just great to wear. So I knew that I would love the longer pair! This new pair will be perfect with winter skirts and dresses! You cannot go wrong with these boots!

I purchased these boots in black about a year and a half ago and absolutely love them - they've been a favorite in my closet. When I saw them on sale, I was excited to order a second pair in Cognac/Redwood. The fit is just as amazing as my original pair, and the leather around the foot is a beautiful, rich color. However, I was disappointed with the shaft color, which reads much more orange than I expected. In addition, this particular pair had noticeable buckling at the ankle. I do have slimmer legs and feet, but I don't experience this issue with my black pair, so it may be specific to this pair. I would have happily kept them if not for the shaft color and the ankle buckling. I will say, Overland is wonderful with their free shipping on both purchases and returns - that definitely makes trying different colors and styles much easier and gives me confidence ordering again in the future.
