They’re made of premium cowhide that’s lined in soft shearling for insulation that keeps winter on the outside. An inside zipper lets you and out of this pretty boot with ease, while the curling rubber sole offers a maximum bearing surface for a good grip on ice and snow. Made in Italy.

Amen to Ammann booties

Love these warm, waterproof booties that are made in Switzerland/Italy (the exact factory location is unclear, but they definitely are not made in China). The price was right, they are perfect for light snowcover, and they nicely slip under the hem of your jeans and easily slip over your leggings. I have a similar pair that go to the knee, which are overkill unless you are walking in several inches of snow.
