The Alessia boots—with waterproof cowhide leather uppers, suede shafts, and padded Italian boiled wool felt tops—offer the ultimate in texture and protection. PrimaLoft insulation keeps you cozy in temps as chilly as -25°F, and Merino wool lining offers warmth and natural breathability. Thick latex and rubber outsoles feature rubber inserts with ice grip technology that’ll keep you safe on slippery surfaces. With front laces and a full inside zip for easy on/off wear.

This boot is crafted with an intentionally unlined heel, which prevents socks from catching and heels from rubbing, enabling a more secure and comfortable fit.

It's comfy!

I bought it early to prepare for the fall. So far its comfortable and my shoe size normally is a 6 but I had bought a different boot many yrs ago it was a little bit bigger, so for this one I bought size 5-5.5 and it fits me perfectly with thin socks

Best boots I've ever owned!

These boots are amazing. Right out of the box they were comfortable, no breaking in required. They're warm, waterproof, and have a great design with the zipper + laces. I live in Iowa, and the sidewalks are frequently very icy. The ice grippers on the bottom are nice, not totally skid proof on sheer ice, but definitely a huge improvement from my old boots. Also, my feet tend to get too hot in boots, but these are warm enough in very cold weather but also breathable enough that my feet don't get hot in them. I can't say enough about how much I love them.

Beautiful. Not terribly warm

While they are beautiful and comfortable, these are in no way -25* boots. Shoveling multiple storms (so... very active) at 14* with a -1 windchill I was feeling the cold in my toes before I was done. They do the job of average, run around and keep dry, but do not really keep the cold out long enough to be useful off the sidewalk or for longer periods. Comparably priced to other outdoor outfitters with a tad more style, I am a bit disappointed in the lack of real warmth.

Great looking and feeling boot

Boot are really comfortable. can't wait to try them out in the snow and ice, love the grip bottoms. purchased them for an upcoming trip to Iceland and they are comfortable enough to wear during the 9 hour flight

Amazing warmth that is still comfortable indoors as well.

I walk my dog a lot and these boots work well in the cold. They are easy to wear as the laces allow for heavier socks with the zipper feature.

Listen!! From a Chicago Girl

2 nights ago (12/7/2021) it was Pretty cold. To the point of my hands and feet being cold, not because my house wasn't warm, but the thought of how cold it was outside. Just like you don't go to the grocery store hungry or you'll buy up the store? Don't shop for cold stuff when its freezing out. I did and worth Every. Single. Dollar! I got my 2 large boxes in 1.5 days and although I have to Constantly break my boots in (something that I dread) because of My high instep, these babies just enveloped my feet on first try! Omg they are like walking on cotton if there was such a thing. Im standing here with my boot on writing this review. I love them!! Now off to try the other 3 pairs of "slippers" and fur lined boots!
