Willow Embroidered Wool-Blend Coat

The coat was packaged perfectly and luxuriously. This coat is lovely. I bought it on sale during the summer and am looking forward to wearing it in the fall and winter. Very well made. Love the smooth fabric. The fit is nice. I am big breasted and didn't know if the top would fit, but it does! I bought an XL and I usually wear a size 14 but knew I needed a bigger size for my breast size. I love the high collar too, for extra coverage during cold months.

It looks better on the person than the hanger. Old fashioned darts (haven't seen in years) form the tailoring and it's perfect. Cinches in at waist. Perfect. I read the reviews before my purchase and one lady said she had wide shoulders so it didn't hang like on the model. That actually sold me...because almost all other reviews were positive and I have the opposite of wide shoulders. I can't wait for next winter to wear it. I live in Montana and have many pieces of jewelry made by different artist of different American Indian Tribes. The jewelry just enhances the look. I got the last size small and couldn't believe my luck. Fabulous.

The embroidery is beautiful; the fabric is warm and the color slightly off-black. However, the XS I usually wear was too small in this particular coat. The shoulders and sleeves were fine, but the area across the hips was narrow at best. Regretfully I am returning it.

This coat brought so many compliments and kept me so warm at a recent event in MI. Love the fitted waist and embroidered detail. Felt like a Nordic beauty!

Just the pros n cons- you decide amigas: Pros- BEAUTIFUL winter coat. actually a charcoal grey (not black) Striking embroidery accents - AHH! thats why I bought it! Great length - warm, chic, sophisticated! Im 5'8- 185 lbs size 12- 14 in all clothing ( between a large and Xl) I purchased this coat in XL - its winter and I layer EVERYTHING. Cons: The sleeve length was good and waist perfect- but the shoulders ran tight (small) Front view was very BOXY. I did not care for the "look" on me. It looks different on the model - obviously since she's about 100 lbs. It appears to be "hanging" on her frame / drapy - it looked squared off on me like a military coat. I wish the designer of this coat put a bit of stretch into the fabric - it would have allowed me to purchase large- and avoid the boxy chest and shoulder area. Im very particular on how I wear my garments - so they accent my physique - this was a no go amigas! The search goes on.....ahh! Maybe you will love this! I feel this coat woudl be perfect on a "thin" individual. (no broad shoulders, no large bust and no muscular arms) Give it a try - it is a BEAUTIFUL piece! ~ Namaste shoppers!

We had problems with FedEx not delivering it to the right house. Finally I got to try it on and the XS was too small. I ordered the small and it's awesome! It arrived a day early too! Thank you to Jack for all his efforts! Thanks again!
