Excellent gift for Girlfriend

Amazing gift for my girlfriend, she has been eyeing it for the last two years. This year i decided to surprise her with this marvelous gift. She loved it. The overall quality or workmanship is exceptional and has held up for carrying paints and art supplies to clothes and light gear for camping and hiking. I would recommend to another person in a heartbeat. Overland may be expensive but the quality and ruggedness of their products is great.

So Pleased!

This bag is beautiful. The interior is a fun red plaid flannel pattern, which I love as a contrast to the outside appearance. Although I don't have much use for the pillow that comes inside, I found the product as a whole to be more than satisfactory. The inside does not have too much storage space, but I am able to fit my computer and school books inside, which is what I was hoping.

Second purchase after having one more than 4 years

Great Backpack! I get comments about it all the time. It is a little clumsy when it comes to securing the bag. That's why I didn't give it five stars. You can't really easily close it without pulling on strings and looping leather straps. I for one would like to see some velcro which would prevent it from opening and letting things fall out. My previous one was in daily use for four years and the canvas and interior lining gave out. I actually prefer the older bag as it seemed softer but it just plain wore out. So I got another !

Very Pretty Backpack, but small

This is a beautiful piece of luggage that I intend to use as my carryon on flights with regional planes so small you must check a normal sized carryon (Embraer, Canadair). The plus is the appearance and design. The only minus is it is quite small -- too small to ride on the hips of anyone taller than 5'. It will hang off your shoulders, which limits the weight you can carry. But carrying you laptop, tablet, liquids and a sweater it will be fine.
