Nice bag

This bag is used everyday as a briefcase. It is weighty and sturdy. I removed the laptop sleeve which gives me more room. Looks really good, holds a lot and is easy to organize. The straps that hold the bag closed have slight tears that were there when I received it. The closures are not easy to use. Overall I am happy with the bag and how Overland got it to me very quickly.

The bag is beautiful and we love Overland. However, it would be great if you didn't send an email the week before Christmas thanking me for my purchase and asking me to review it. Bought the messenger bag for my husband for his computer to carry back and forth on business. He has gotten several compliments on it. The bag is great for travel because it is light weight yet very durable. He likes that it has style yet is acceptable for business. He is very pleased with the quality and construction of the bag.

Perfect bag

I had a book bag in college and it eventually wore out. Over the years, I have attempted to replace that bag and was never comfortable or satisfied with any of the approximately dozens of bags I purchased. Then I found this bag: perfect size, hangs at the right position on the body, easy to locate the contents, malleable and comfortable! I wasn't apparently easy to satisfy, but this bag finallly met my needs and taste.

mostly...the perfect bag!

This is a great durable well made bag, however, it is a bit heavy when empty! Also, I feel that there should be 2 handles on the bag vs one handle to accomodate the weight of the bag and it's contents. I'm worried that the single handle may rip or tear over time. I will try to use the shoulder strap as much as possible to prevent this from happening. The shoulder strap is strong and wide so is comfortable on the shoulder.
