I think photo was photoshopped

There is a reason the top and the back are not shown. The color is ugly. But the quality is there. Also it would have helped keep the horns up, had the cut been more like a beanie. It is a bit long and there is too much empty space inside the top of the hat. (I guess it is perfect for a man bun). Used it for snowboarding - kept me warm. So wish the color was better. Not like overland to miss that detail.

Weird color! Odd shaped

The hat is well made BUT - the two that I purchased (for gifts) are a weird pinky brown tan that do not go with warm hues. It looks like pink skin that got rubbed on asphalt. If you don't pull it down super tight on your head, you can easily look like Marvin the Martian - the design would have been more attractive had it been cut shallower from the crown to the edge. One recipient of the gift commented that one horn flops down. The stitching is good and the pelts are fine - the design and color are off.

Great winter hat!

Came across this hat while searching for a winter coat on the Overland site. Who knew this was THE item my winter wardrobe was missing? I feel fierce when I wear it, it garners admiration, laughter and comments wherever it goes and it is cozy and warm in our frigid Alberta winters. When it first arrived one horn was virtually unstuffed so it flopped down but I easily picked the seam and added stuffing. I do feel, for the price, that this is something that shouldn't be overlooked... If you're thinking about this hat don't hesitate-it's awesome! I'm 58 years old and wear what I LOVE!

The hat I never knew I was missing in my life

Sheepskin joy with a twist. Who knew all I was missing was horns? The quality is perfect, naturally, but the Viking horns take it beyond. I shall never be without it.

Splurge to replace the one I bought in the early 80's.

Grew up in Northern NM. Mom wandered into the Overland store in Taos, after skiing. I felt I needed a hat with Viking horns. I went home did chores and we came back weeks later, probably for a ski race, and I bought that hat! Really loved it. It was stolen when I was living in a dorm situation with numerous roping belt buckles. I have bought another, probably made in China before that was not an Overland product. It sucked. I watched on overland but never saw them again, till last week. Now I'm happy to have one again.
