Superb vest! This has moderate thickness, versatile indoors and out. I've loved some other Overland sheepskin jackets but those are so toasty warm, they only cover you from the car to the front door. This one is good for a wide range of temps and can be dressed up or down. Think wearing it Friday to meetings, all day Saturday at a family reunion, and Sunday night for carting in wood. I found the pockets fine unlike another reviewer. The only knock: This is not *super* warm, so if you plan on trekking through the winter plains of Montana, you'll want down instead. Sizing: I'm 5' 10", 195 lbs, athletic, L fits perfect.
