I bought this for my daughter and fell in love with it, of course, she got the bright pink, so I need to come back and order the gray version for myself. The scarf is very soft and warm, unbelievably soft and so fashionable. I haven't noticed any shedding, but again I ordered this one for my daughter. She is very happy with it, I'm going to say it would make a great gift for any teen girl.
