Beautiful coat but not too flattering on short people.

I purchased the beautiful Theodora hooded Toscana sheepskin coat in the olive color. I really like this warm coat, it is incredibly soft and doesn't feel too heavy while wearing it. I don't even mind the buttons vs. having a zipper. Although I am 5'2", I purchased the large size because during the winter I wear my coats with sweaters underneath and I am busty/curvy and didn't want to feel restricted if I buttoned it up during cold weather. My only problem wearing this beautiful coat was the length, it was much too long for my height and being that it has a flared hem it just looked a silly on me. If I can find the same warm sheepskin coat that would stop at about my hip area, it would be ideal. The coat is beautiful and well made but it's just not flattering on short people.
