I purchased the Sandra shearling coat in Black Briesa a few years ago, and I have been recently eyeing the Theodora, because I wanted a shearling coat with a hood, which the Sandra does not have. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased the Theodora Hooded Navy Toscana Sheepskin coat a few weeks ago and I have no regrets. The coat is gorgeous and warm and different enough in styling and color from the Sandra so I don't feel like I am wearing the same/similar coat, but with a hood. The navy color is beautiful and the defined waistline and flared hem creates an A-line shape which is very flattering. The length works well even though I am only 5' 3". I found it to be TTS. I weigh 122 lbs. and typically wear a 4 or a Small, and purchased the coat in Small and it fits perfectly. The length of the sleeves can be adjusted up or down. The quality, as always with Overland, is exceptional. A splurge of a purchase, but it is a beautiful and functional piece, so I know I will wear it for many years to come!

This coat is absolutely beautiful and incredibly warm. However, for someone who likes to button up all the way to the neck, it would be great if there were an additional button at the very top. The hood is large and looks amazing when worn on the head, but when it's down and acts like a collar, it leaves the neck exposed. Overall, I'd definitely give it five stars. That being said, I personally have a hard time finding coats that suit me because I prefer them to be cinched at the waist with a belt. I ordered size XS-02, but maybe I should have gone for XS-0-it might have fit me better. Still, I really wish this coat came with a belt. Despite this, I truly love the design and quality of the coat!

If you love soft, feminine, and luxury, this is the winter coat for you! Love everything about it from the material, craftsmanship, and design. Recommend ordering one size smaller than usual. At 5'8" and 140#, I had to exchange my medium for a small.

My husband gave me this coat last Christmas. It's beautiful and heavy! I'm 5'4" so it's longer on me than on the model but still looked nice. Definitely feels like I'm wearing a luxury piece. Great choice.

I've purchased from Overland and have been very happy with mostly everything. Items are beautifully crafted. This coat is beautiful! I purchased it because my body type favors an A-line style. Unfortunately, it has to be returned. I ordered my usual size, but the fit is too narrow, especially in the sleeves. I usually wear layers when it's cold & I wear belts. This coat does not lend itself for such a lifestyle. The coat also does not have a neck closure to fend off the cold. The coat just fits with one thin layer of clothing underneath.

Despite one major flaw, this is my favorite coat. For it to be truly functional, there should be a button to cinch the hood around one's face. As it is, the hood is merely decorative, and the slightest breeze will blow it off your head. But it is so soft, warm, and beautiful, I wear it anyway. I plan to have a button added to solve the hood issue because I like the length of this coat. Otherwise, if I were tall, I would order the Dakota, which already has a button for the hood.

This jacket is an amazing, quality jacket. Possibly one of the highest quality items that I own. It is absolutely beautiful and very thick and warm. Be cautioned, that the other reviews recommend sizing down, but I do not believe this to be true. I believe the jacket runs true to size. This is my second Overland jacket and I wear a medium in both to allow layering over larger sweaters. If you size down, as recommended, the jacket will be very formfitting and difficult to wear certain pieces under. I was very happy with Overland's customer service, and they were able to get me out a replacement jacket in the correct size in time to make my trip to Quebec City. The jacket was gorgeous and received many compliments. I am 135 pounds 5'2" and athletic built. The medium was perfect for me.
