Finally a Suede Jacket That Fits Tall Frames
This is my second jacket from Overland - my other is the Brian Sheepskin Jacket in Vintage Charcoal - and once again they delivered where most brands fail: proportion. I'm 6'5" and about 250 lbs, and it's genuinely rare to find a suede jacket that's long enough in the body, correct in the sleeves, and still looks refined instead of oversized or boxy. If you're tall, you know the struggle: most jackets stop around 27 inches and end up looking cropped. This one doesn't - it's properly proportioned, with a 29.75" body length. This one fits me perfectly.
The suede is smooth, the color is exceptional in person, and the overall cut feels more like a blazer than a casual jacket - tailored, clean, and easy to dress up. The double collar / double-zip setup with lamb-leather trim is a great surprise detail. It doesn't read like "extra layering," it functions more like a built-in guard and adds structure and polish.
It has plenty of pockets, though I do wish the external hand pockets were about an inch deeper. My only other nit is the lining: it feels great to the touch, but I'd prefer it cut a bit tighter so it stays in place when moving - especially in the sleeves.
Overall: gorgeous, unusually well-proportioned for a tall/broad frame, and for the price it's exceptional value.
