With a nod to the past and a look towards the future, our leather stoker hat adds style and “hattitude” to your business wardrobe or blue jeans, while giving you sun-smart protection. Inspired by the American laborer's hat of the 1890s, this handsome leather stoker features a stingy 2" brim and a double-stitch leather band that's finished with two brass fasteners and a feather. A built-in curling wire lets you adjust the angle of the brim to suit your taste. And you can adjust the hat size by replacing the soft anti-sweat liner that's attached with Velcro tabs. Brim: 2". Crown: 4". Handcrafted in the USA.

The black hat is made of suede with a leather band and the pecan hat is all leather.

Beautiful hat that fit perfectly

I was worried that this hat would not be feminine enough. However, it is impossibly cute and I get a lot of complements on it. This size is right on. The hat does not slide down despite being a relatively heavier hat as it is all leather. The quality of this hat will ensure it lasts for years.

brown stoker hat

Great look--I added a feather band which complimented the original feather. Am thinking of another purchase--a brown leather jacket. Paid $155 plus tax in Santa Fe($166, total for hat) Band was $14.01 w/ tax purchased elsewhere.

My Stoker

I had nothing but compliments (mostly ladies) when I wore my Stoker to the International Folk Art Festival in Santa Fe, NM. Later, I found the same reaction down at the Santa Fe plaza. When I first found the hat at Overland Traders, I put it on, walked up to a woman (customer) at the counter and said, "Does this hat make me look as good as I think it does?" She readily agreed it did..and I bought it. Thanks for a nice product. Only problem was getting the feather in the band, but I managed on the right hand side. Is that kosher? Jim Snyder

This hat is the bomb!

If you are thinking about getting this hat, think no more-just get it! So unique-dress up, dress down. I wore this hat out the night I received it, and garnered lots of compliments. I did a bit of a steampunk look and it can go that way, but you are not obligated to that look at all. V. Contemporary too!

great hat

I just recently purchased the Steampunk Leather Stoker Hat. I received many compliments on this hat. Only 4 stars because it is always difficult to get the exact size and fit. I wish that the sizer band was included as the hat is about a half size too big. However, as always the shipping and delivery was on time without any damage. Great work to the folks at Overland

Hat made James Caan famous. Love it.

We traveled 6ooo mi. on this trip, and the best thing I found was this hat at Overland. The instant I tried it on I knew this was the hat for me. I've tried on hundreds of others at western stores in many states, even in Tombstone, Ariz. and none looked right on me til I found this one. James Caan always wore this type hat in all his old western movies. It looks great, and the narrow brim isn't bashing into everything around me. We stopped at the store because I had recently bought one of their real sheepskins for my bed. It really helps with my bony hips. We don't mind paying a little more when the products are of such great quality. Thanks Overland.

Great Hat

I got my hat last week, in Chestnut color. Sizes run small, Originally ordered in Honey color (small) didn't fit, had to re-order in medium and chestnut color. Quality made, nice leather, looks great. Had no issues with exchange (no charge) Would recommend this to anyone.
