Half Off for a Reason
I think I got one of the hats that didn't pass quality control, unfortunately. It's soft, true. HOWEVER: The seam of the the front fur section is smack dab in the middle of the forehead. I cannot see it, but I can feel it. It seems (if you'll pardon the pun) like the manufacturer cobbled the hat together with scraps instead of full-cut pieces. Even if it were 75% off the original price of 200 bucks, I'd still return it. A pity really. I thought I was getting a bargain but I just got leftovers. Unless all of them are made like this-- then I'd call it a ripoff. It was the first time I tried Overland. I don't think I'll try again. Too many choices out there to waste my time.
