The pelts were lovely, but to use it for a throw was not comfortable. The backing is stiff, not cuddly or malleable, more like what you would find to the back of a rug. If you want the piece as a rug, it would be great, but as a throw, they need to change the backing. I toyed with the idea of having the backing removed and replaced with Satin, but at that price, it should have come that way.
