Overland's Style & Quality is Remarkable!
I plan to wear a Sawyer everyday. Got it yesterday and the unboxing was so satisfying yet again. Also have the Ice Blue Lucio and SE Pebble Grey Bomber. Overland's style and quality control continues to impress me. They all arrived with No signs of wear or aging from sitting in storage. Straight from the sewing machine. They break-in quickly and show no signs of durability concerns. The Sawyers thickness is a perfect balance of strength without sacrificing a smooth range of motion. I slept in my Lucio and Sawyer the first night and just like that they are second skin grade. The SE Grey Bomber didn't need breaking-in, in fact that was the nicest shearling I have ever seen straight out-of-box. Movement and panel design on the Sawyer is very stylish but also amazingly universal. A few colleagues with different builds tried the Sawyer on and both agreed they looked great. This is really awesome for gift giving. The cotton lining is exceptional and perfectly bonded to the suede as if it were a closely shaved down shearling. This makes moving around silent and really nice even without a undershirt and the two inside pockets hold an IPhone 14 pro max with ease but not much additional space for anything additional. I can't feel inside pockets against skin when wearing them despite not being behind a liner. Rolling up the sleeves reveals how well the patterns and colors were thought out. I would wear this to 98% of daily occasions and still be one of the best dressed and comfortable in the room. Though it does appear to be closer to black I can already see in a couple spots how the patina will develop into a dark navy and I'm looking forward to each day. I wish they would consider Overland engraved leather transport pouches 18"x18" for shipping which would then be great for throwing your leather gear in before putting in luggage or backpack. The only reason I can think there are not more reviews on the Sawyer is that people who bought them want to keep them secret! 🤔😎
