Adorable hat, fits a little tight

The hat is adorable and well made. I can't wait to wear it. I measured my head and originally ordered a small. it was so tiny i could only set it on top of my head! i sent back for a large, and it fits. perhaps slightly tight but not to an uncomfortable point. i might try a strategy to stretch it slightly but i'm afraid of overstretching it so i might just wear it as is. It's lovely.

I would not buy this item again

I knew I was taking a risk buying this and I am disappointed. The fit is strange, box shaped not round like in the picture. The suede feels inexpensive. I had a hat like this that I bought in Prague and I lost. This does not compare.

Looks Fabulous! And actually keeps you warm.

I love this hat! Tried it on as a lark, but the fit was perfect. Plus, I have a smaller head and knit caps make me look like a pin head. This hat adds just enough volume and makes you look stylish. When I wear this hat, I get compliments and keep it on even when indoors sometimes. My daughter wants one just like it! I may buy the hat in white too!

I love it and it makes me look amazing

I had been looking for an original Russian Hat and this one is definitely exquisite, elegant and genuine. Whenever I wear it ppl think that I am Russian. The fur is original and of a very good quality and very warm too. My head is tiny, I bought size 6 and it seemed quite tight, so instead of sending it back I decide to follow some directions used to make leather a bit bigger because anyways leather is elastic, so I wet it with hot water and I put it on a pot to shape it a bit bigger and I worked fantastically!

Quality hat at a good price

Quality Cossack-style hats are surprisingly difficult to find, but this one fills the bill nicely. The materials are good; it is sewn together well; and it looks great on either men (guilty as charged) or women. I especially like the Toscana trim: it is wonderfully done and feels terrific. I purchased the Santa Fe, which combines black trim with a very dark brown suede, and goes well with most anything. Although I live in KY, we do have quite a few days when the temp dips into the single digits or below, so I will be getting some moderate out of this hat. First time I wore it, one of my friends commented on how "Russian" I looked (a la Dr. Zhivago). Very happy with this purchase.

I just love this hat!!

Staying Warm Starts at the Top

I have worn a shearling hat for years, but was looking for something a little more compact for traveling. Europe in the Winter isn't that much warmer than Wisconsin. This hat is perfect - warm yet lightweight, and it doesn't take up too much space in my carry-on. I wouldn't risk losing it in 'lost luggage'. The fit is perfect, too. Staying warm starts with the head where most of body heat is lost, and this is the perfect hat for the purpose.
