Romana II Washed Lambskin Leather Jacket

I really debated over which size to order. I wear an 8 in most clothing, but the 6-8 range for the Small made me a bit nervous that it would be too snug. I wound up ordering the Medium, but that was a bit looser than I wanted. It wasn't too bad, but I had a feeling I might be better off with the Small. There was only one Small left, so I ordered it quickly (holding onto the Medium just in case) and I'm SO glad I did. It fits PERFECTLY. I tried it on over a heavy sweater just to be sure, and there was no pulling or strain on the slash pockets. So, back goes the Medium. FYI, I'm 5' 7.5" and 135 pounds, with a fairly rectangular figure (not a tiny waistline or large bust/hips). The jacket is VERY soft and well-made. I really love the contrasting trim, too. I have a good heavy/bulky bomber-type leather jacket, as well as a nice medium-length lambskin coat that works for a dressier look. This looks perfect for anything casual, and it will easily work for three seasons. Probably a bit light for super-cold days, but fine for any others.

This is a great coat! Fits like a glove and is so soft and warm! Well worth the cost.

This jacket is warm, feels rich to the touch. The XS size was correct. I really couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I wore this jacket to escort my daughter's senior walk (she thought it looked very cool on me), and while waiting outside at the football field end zone, the temperature dropped 15 degrees with wind gusts swooshing around. Although lightweight, this jacket kept the wind out and the warmth in. But for this jacket, I would have left as some did due to the cold. Beautifully made jacket that is very comfortable to wear while protecting you from the wind and cold. It appears made to last a lifetime and then be handed down.
