Retro Leather Moto Jacket

The jacket is nicely designed & fits well, the leather is of good quality though slightly shinier than I prefer - the finish coating seems just a bit synthetic though I'll be conditioning it with good product. I only wish it were actually made in the U.S. Thanks you, I expect to wear it for a good long time.

I love the leather jacket. I originally ordered a large, it was a little snug. Returned it and received an XL two days later. Fantastic customer service, fast and easy exchange.

Great jacket. I only wish the bi-swing back extended to mid back, allowing for additional freedom of movement. Another feature I wish the jacket had would be a single vertical zip exterior chest pocket. The horizontal zip pockets can be difficult to place a phone or other object into the pocket. Finally, the leather borders of the zippered areas should extend inward so much so they almost cover the zippers, thus protecting them from the elements.

I counted how many leather jackets I bought in the last ten years. This Goat Skin Leather is the ninth jacket . It is now my new favourite leather jacket. Because it is goatskin , not lambskin , the jacket is heavier. With reinforcement on the sleeves . There is impressive quilted thermo lining . So the jacket would be good in early spring or late fall. . But not too heavy to wear at the start of summer. Highly recommended . I have a 36" waist , and 46" - 48" chest . I had to return a Large and replace with an XL . The jacket fits on the small size. Like I already said " Highly Recommended"

Love all aspects of the jacket- high quality but black is not a good color for me nor am I a biker type according to my wife and I have to agree.I returned it and now waiting for my Memphis lambskin brick color jacket to arrive tomorrow. The customer service is excellent.

Quality isn't as good as some of the other coats Overland offers, but the look and fit are perfect.

Full-grain goatskin leather: more supple, smaller and finer texture than cowhide. Outside pockets - two chest, two hip - are zippered with chain pulls; no hardware on two inside pockets. Zippered sleeve cuffs do not have wind flaps, nor does the main zipper, compared to a similar but "proper" motorcycle jacket like the Schott 530. Like the 530, this jacket has shoulder gussets for mobility, but no underarm gussets for a sleeker look and slimmer fit; there are, however, two grommets in each underarm panel, open to the body lining, for ventilation. Split back panel with center seam like the 530, but with "faux belt" for an interesting mix in design language. Cotton body lining looks more like a light goldenrod color than what's shown; the polyester sleeve lining is black. Sizing is accurate: I wear a 40R at 5'9" and 180 lbs, 16 neck, 42 chest, 34 waist, 34-35 sleeve, which puts me on the high-side of medium and low-side of large. Medium fits snugly but comfortably through the body and sleeves, as this style of jacket should. Length is perfect: cuffs hit above mid-hand with arms at side, hem hits near top of pant back pockets. Doesn't have the heritage of a comparable Schott NYC jacket (the 530), but almost $500 less in price without cutting corners on craftsmanship. Beautiful jacket - you won't regret it.
