Pioneer Horween Leather Backpack with Concealed Carry Pocket

Beautiful, well constructed and perfect for everyday!

Horween leather is excellent. Just not enough pockets and needs steel feet in bottom. Padded straps and back would have been good with the leather. No expandability zipper to make the backpack bigger (yes more leather, but what about a 2 inch swath?). Overall, just an average bag that is made of Horween leather.

What is the Velcro insert for in the zipper pocket

I purchased this backpack for business, specifically commuting and occasional travel. It arrived in 2 days. The signature required was great to make sure it arrived at my home. The smell when you opened the box is amazing. I've had the bag for a week and carried it around a conference at a large hotel. Very comfortable. Easy to handle. The interior is roomy. I had a laptop, oversized zippered notebook, water bottle, and shawl inside. I decided to use the outside pocket for a compact umbrella. I received A LOT of compliments on the bag. The concealed carry is roomy and the zip can be locked. I use it for spare keys because I don't carry. You won't be disappointed. The leather is heavy duty but not heavy. The zipper was a little stiff but it's become easier to pull. It's definitely something to keep for years of daily use.

I purchased this after researching the heck out of leather backpacks and messengers. I settled on this one, and I'm not disappointed. It's top quality leather, the smell is unbelievable. Most important to me is the capacity. I have a laptop and a large zip around notebook inside. And there's still room! I'm not a concealed weapon holder, but I can say the concealed carry space is roomy. It can be locked very efficiently, so I plan to use it for spare keys. The straps do not slide! It's a little stiff but to be expected. I'm looking forward to using this for the office and travel. BTW this purchase is a replacement for a 14 yr old bag from LL Bean.

This bag is beautiful, honestly my favorite thing was opening the box and smelling that amazing leather smell. It is extremely comfortable, fits my Laptop / iPad Pro / Huge Monthly Planner / Wallet and all the small bits where my MK Tote could not. Not to mention the nice plaid interior as well. I also carry a larger gun with sight and light and still fits snug in the CC pouch. I was a bit nervous with the investment of this bag, but it was definitely worth it and will stand the test of time.

The style of the backpack, the Horween leather and the craftsmanship all combine to make the perfect backpack! Get off of the fence and go ahead and order it. You will not regret!

It is absolutely stunning. When we opened the box it was love at first glance. The Horween leather looks and smells fabulous, it is such a rich nourished color. It is gorgeous and appears to be very heavy duty. With a little conditioner from time to time I think it will outlast me. The stitching is straight and neat, looks like hand stitching but it's just too perfect for that! The whole family loves it. I'd buy it again.

There are so many great things to say about this gorgeous backpack from the classic color, to the thick, quality leather. It is destined to get cooler with age and serve as a roadmap of one's life history. It has a wonderful plaid lining with some of the most useful interior organizing pockets for laptops and sundries I have seen. I love its tall size for fitting in items for work, art supplies, books, lunch, a change of clothes. You can fit so much for a full day's outing! The top zip access is is a great feature, the front turn lock pocket is an excellent size for stashing most things you need to get at quickly. There is a small side stuff pocket and on the other side a brass loop and a brass clasp to hook things onto. There is a discreet rear pocket that can lock. The shoulder straps are sturdy and comfortable. It is rugged and polished at the same time. It may be new and you may not have inherited it, but years from now the bag will have tales to tell and be the kind of thing you will want to pass on to a discerning loved one.

The leather is substantial yet soft. Absolutely love it!
