Are the sleeves lined?

Yes, the sleeves are lined. The whole coat is made of sheepskin so the whole interior will lined with a soft Toscana shearling.

QUESTION:

Three Questions How does one find a cleaner for this coat? And does this coat withstand rain? Is there a water repellent product one can use? Thank you.

ANSWER:

If this coat needed cleaned we would advise finding a professional who is used to sheepskin (NOT a dry cleaner). Sheepskin is naturally water resistant but you would not want to get it saturated. If you were in snow or a light drizzle the coat would be okay if shaken off and left to air dry naturally. We do not recommend a water repellent product as that can damage the quality of the sheepskin.

Gorgeous Coat!

Love this coat, it's beautiful and very well made. It's extremely warm! I can't wait to wear it more come winter, as I just received it. It fit great and feels amazing!

It is gorgeous!

I was worried that I would be swimming in it but it fit wonderfully and looks so beautiful on. The trim is lighter and more tan-ish than in the picture but it is fine for me. My daughter's reaction when I tried it on for her was WOW!

I love this coat

I had my eye on this coat for a long time and my only regret is that I didn't get it sooner. The quality is top notch; exactly like one would expect from Overland. It'll be so warm. I cannot wait until winter to wear it!

Petra in sage

I've had this beauty for a yr now. Purchased sz sml for my 5'6" 123# athletic frame... plenty of room for layering over sweaters. I believe the xsml would've fit well but arms may have been too short whereas they are perfect length for me in sz sml. I love everything about Petra except the very cheap buckles made from poor quality leather that appears to be 'pleather'. Add function to how cheap they look~ not easy for closure at all... time consuming + frustrating. In addition, I think there should be another buckle abo e the top one as the hood will not stay up without one. Also, I wish the pockets were lined. These three modifications would make all the difference. Imo for the price point I expected better especially where the buckles are concerned.

Lovely but the buckles...

For three years, I have obsessed over the Petra coat and finally decided it was the year to buy the gorgeous coat. I am 5 foot five and around 142 pounds. I decided to purchase size small, which was a good fit for me. I love the color sage and the hood is adorable. BUT, the buckles on the jacket don't keep buckled and feel like they are poorly made. If I'm going to buy an expensive jacket I want everything on the jacket to be perfect. And for that, I had to send the coat back. I have other items from Overland and they are stunning. The company is easy to work with. Returns and exchanges are super easy. Perhaps there is another coat out there for me.

Great quality and awesome customer service.

The boots I purchased online were too small and needed to be returned. I used the quick order available for returns and received the next size up the following day. With a return authorization label the other shoes were returned and a credit to my card came a day later. I'm very impressed with the quality of the product and customer service.

Great versatile jacket - edgy and not stodgy.

I love the option of using the hood or folding the neck into a big cozy wrap with this stylish jacket. If I can make a suggestion - the buckles for closures are too fussy and take too long to open and close. I would have liked a simple toggle or button instead.
