Great quality, as expected - but not practical for me

For the record, I am a big fan of Overland. I like the products, I like the company, I like their online presence. I have ordered from them in the past and will continue to do so. Unfortunately, while I REALLY wanted to like this blanket - especially on sale - it just wasn't going to work for me. I loved the sheepskin and the weight, but I wasn't able to get past the long fur at the ends which would tickle my face and stick to facial hair, the shiny satin side felt kinda feminine in person, and not being able to wash the blanket just isn't practical for someone like me with pets. A good product - I'm just not the target market unfortunately.

Expecting more

Glad I bought this on sale as full price would be way overpriced . I was expecting much more and the blanket feels very stiff and the backing feels cheap. It slides off the bed too easily because of the backing.

Heavy, luxurious one of a kind

So Elegant and Luxurious

I have the sheepskin throw on top of my bed. It is so elegant and luxurious that I'd fit for a King or Queen. It keeps me cozy and warm, yet light weight so you don't feel weighted down. I like the satin that is used under the sheepskin too. This is the best sheepskin throw that I had every owned. I owned a number of high end sheepskin throws. Glad that I was able to buy it on sale.

Beautiful on one side!

Wow what a luxurious blanket that looks and feels amazing on ONE side. Sadly the flip side has been faced with a clashing shiny satin in a horrible shade of apricot-peachy color that makes it look so cheap! I was so excited to receive the blanket and feel how soft, luxurious and heavy it is, only to open it up and see that horrible fabric. I have debated if I have a seamstress replace the satin but for the cost of the blanket, it should be nicer and aesthetically matching.

Absolutely love it!

Most manufactures of products like this say they use real materials (i.e. wool, leather etc) but usually that's not true. They tend to use poly mixes etc which is basically plastic. THIS throw is REAL! I absolutely love it and feel great about the purchase. I'll have it the rest of my life! Overland's attention to detail and insistence on sourcing and using real and sustainable fabrics is rare in the world of textiles. I'm a customer for life!

I am going to buy this again

I love everything I have ever purchased from Overland. But this throw is blow my mind spectacular. It is so dense soft just lovely. Of all my sheep skin rugs , pillows gloves hat coats. This is my special love. OMG.
