This is such a great jacket!
I'm 5'10" with a 47 suit size. I ordered the XL and it fits good. There's actually a lot of room for layering, but the jacket drapes nicely. The sleeves are a little long, but I just roll up the cuffs once. The style in my opinion is great. I love the buttons and the fact that you can wear it with the collar all the way up to keep out the wind. I live in Wisconsin and it's a good idea to buy clothes that you can adjust for the weather. It can change very quickly. Almost my entire wardrobe is Merino wool, so I'd like to think that I know what to look for. The quality is really good and I don't think that I'll be disappointed in the long term. One thing that I noticed right away was the inside pockets are tack sewn on one corner, but one side isn't stitched. I'm going to fix it by using a fabric adhesive to complete the pocket. It wasn't worth it to me to send it back for that. To me, it's a easy fix.
