Perfect Gloves, Perfect Timing

Running into a snow storm in Taos, in May of all times, sent me to Overland for some gloves. These gloves are the perfect weight and perfect fit.

Disappointed compared prior purchase

I have purchased these same gloves twice before. The current version have insulation that is not as lush or effective. The current gloves are size larger than before. On the other hand (no pun intended), the touchtec works well. And the 100% guaranty was honored.

Not TouchTec; poor function

Mis-advertised! These are not TouchTec brand. I have purchased TouchTec branded gloves in the past - they work marvelously; only a light stroke allows input into a smart device. These Apollo Grandoe require a broad surface to activate the keys; just can't text like my other gloves. The glove itself is quite nice, though, but not for a great electronic device experience.

Runs small / Weak Stitches

I like the quality of the leather and the lining but the sizing and stitching are not up to standard. I ordered an XL glove (based on my size and all my other gloves) and this glove was very difficult to put on, resulting in a tear in the stitching at the base of the small finger on my left hand the first time I tried the glove on. The right glove was also difficult to put on but it hasn't split yet. I'm researching my options for a return and/or a response from Overland regarding my dissatisfaction with the integrity of the stitching.

Ordered my second pair

I had these for two winters and wanted to get a new pair. They are warm against the winter weather, well into the very cold temperatures. The tech touch allows me to answer emails on my phone while waiting outside.

Everything I hoped for
