Lifetime purchase
My wife has been trying to get me to buy a sheepskin coat from Overland for the past couple of years. I bought a less expensive sheepskin coat from Overland a year ago, but it had a flaw so needed to be returned, which they handled very graciously. We just visited the Overland store in Santa Fe, where Philippe (sp?) helped me try on several different varieties. We kept coming back to the McKinley, even though we knew it was twice as expensive as almost all of their other sheepskin coats. It just felt better in every respect. I never thought I would pay this much for a single item of clothing, but my wife reminded me that this is a lifetime purchase, and I will not regret it after having owned it for a few years. As it turns out, I have owned the coat only for a few days and already feel like I made a very good decision. We ended up getting the dark forest color, which I really love. I am 6'4" and weigh 225 pounds. I ended up getting a 46, which fits perfectly. It is strange to admit this, but I am a vegetarian that doesn't want to contribute to the use of animals for eating. However, I also have type one diabetes and have a lot of problems with circulation and being cold. This is why I have a sheepskin hat, sheepskin mittens, and sheepskin slippers from Overland. I just don't think anything man-made compares to the warmth and comfort that you can get from good quality animal products. I am looking forward to many evening walks with my wife and our two collie dogs while wearing my McKinley sheepskin coat, and other Overland sheepskin products.
