Liliana Hooded Shearling Sheepskin Coat

Just received the coat, and I can't be happier. I have ordered and tried other Sheepskin Coats from Overland, and had difficulty with getting one to fit me. I am petite (5') and that is probably part of the problem. I seem to be in between an xxs and an xs. Many of the XXS coats are too tight for me in the arms, chest, sleeves, and shoulders, while the xs coats fit in those places but they are usually too long in the sleeves and torso. So, I was pleasantly surprised when my xs Liliana Coat arrived. It was the last one in this size, and on sale so I knew I had to order it otherwise it would be gone. It fit everywhere, and was proportioned to me so as not to overwhelm my small frame. Like it was made for me. It is not boxy, but tapered at waist, providing a nice silhouette. On me, the coat hits right below my knees. And yes, the sleeves are adjustable. You can roll them up more or less depending on your needs. Gives you an elegant tailored classic look that will not go out of style. Can be dressed up or down. The chocolate brown is a rich color. It is very warm, but does not feel heavy on. Also extremely soft both on inside and outside. It is too warm to wear now, but I Iook forward to wearing it next winter both in NJ and Idaho.

Even at the clearance price, this is the most money I have ever spent on a single garment. I kept gravitating back to this design, and bit the bullet when it went on sale after much internal struggle. I'm glad I did. I hope that I can wear it t for years to come. It looks elegant but not ostentatious. I don't want my first impression to be "here comes someone in a really expensive coat," I just want that effortless, impeccably put together look that only a high quality, well-made wardrobe staple can bring. This delivers on all of that. Bonus: despite its slim, understated silhouette, it's incredibly warm. A true classic. The only adjustment that would make next year's batch a 10/10 would be just a little more give in the upper sleeves. I don't have disproportionately large arms and don't tend to wear bulky layers, and yet the upper sleeves feel tight whenever I have even a thin second layer (ie cardigan) underneath. Because of how much I love this coat, and how tailor-made the rest of the fit is, I can make it work, but even just 1/2 inch more fabric in the arms would make it perfectly comfortable in every way.

The Lillian sheerling coat is absolutely beautiful and warm. Would definitely recommend buying it.

Beautiful quality, great fit (I purchased the M and normally wear a size 10), and really warm. Shipping was incredibly fast and the extras included - the wooden hanger and garment bag - were the icing on the cake. Worth every penny.
