At first I questioned whether this would be worth the price - it is quite pricey for a little hat. BUT, when I received it, I was surprised at how nicely it fit and how cute it is. My husband, who has few opinions about "fashion," immediately said, "that's really cute." Mr. Taciturn said it was CUTE! It is stretchy, extremely light weight but quite warm, and is very "small" in volume. To take it on a trip will mean it will tuck into a small space (I will make a carry-bag for it to protect it). I have moderately short white hair; this almost covers all my hair and "replaces" it! When I wear it I don't take it off inside a restaurant, etc....it's not too hot to keep on inside but it's plenty warm outside. And did I mention it is OH SO CUTE!
