The lining is a 100% shearling. Shearling and wool are similar but they are different. The wool has been sheared off the sheep and processed differently than the shearling which has stayed attached to the hide.

Beautiful

I bought this coat for my son for Christmas. Since the cold begins before the actual Christmas morning orgy of opening packages, he has already tried his beautiful jacket on and absolutely LOVES it. The most beautiful jacket I've ever owned

This jacket is stunning. The inside lining really pops, but more importantly it's super comfortable and cozy. I highly recommend this jacket. It's worth it.

Artic circle trip to Iceland and Norway

Very comfortable and warm even in heavy winds with wind-chill near zero. Great looking and really warm, even Norwegians were interested in my jacket. My only complaint would be that the pockets should be bigger and deeper with a heavier duty zipper. When Norwegians appreciate what you are wearing in the cold artic circle areas you know you got a winner.

Outstanding as expected!

Another phenomenal coat from Overland. I'm 6'2", 210 pounds with an athletic build and the XL fits very well. Quality materials and construction matches the gloves, apparel and slippers from Overland. The toughest decision was which coat to buy. You won't be disappointed!

Perfect Coat

If you're around 5'11ish and 200-220ish get a Large it fits perfectly with or without a hoodie. This coat is well made warm and fly. I got the black/Montana joint and it's vicious. If your are around that weight and height get a Large because the XL would probably be way too big trust me because the large has plenty room. The shipping is super fast also. I hope this helps because I was worried about the sizing so I read all the reviews. My chest is 42.5

Absolutely Love it!

I bought this jacket for my husband. It looks so good on him. The quality is amazing and the brown fur on it is so pretty. He received so many compliments on it. Although it's a heavy jacket, it is not hot, but just perfect. It blocks the wind well and looks so classy.
