Jane Special Edition Sheepskin B-3 Bomber Jacket

Looking forward to wearing it this winter.

I purchased the xxs pink coat. At 5'1" 95lb 32E with slim hips, my expectations were low. OMG, this is the holy grail of winter coats for slim petites looking for a gorgeouscoat that keeps ypu warm and doesnt swallow you. Had I known, I would gladly pay twice the regular price given the gorgeous color, fit, and quality. I cannot wait for cold weather!!!

I love everything about this jacket. The color is gorgeous, the cost is warm, and looks so good on. The first day I wore it I already got a huge compliment on how awesome the jacket was. The sleeves were a little long on me because I have shorter arms, but I just rolled the sleeve once and now it's perfect.

I'll start by saying this coat is very high quality. But there are a couple design features that I don't particularly like that don't really make sense to me. The biggest one is how it zips closed. There is a vertical seam of exposed shearling which for some reason they designed to zip on the inside of the coat. This makes the front of the coat very bulky and unflattering when it's zipped closed. It makes zero sense to me as to why they would design it this way. Considering shearling trim is a design throughout the entire coat, I don't understand why they would put that part on the inside when zipped up. I suppose it makes the front look more clean when zipped closed but the amount of bulk it adds seems impractical. And I think the coat would actually look better with the shearling seam exposed on the outside when zipped up since it goes with the overall design of the coat. I also wish the coat was either a couple inches longer or shorter. I'm 5'7" and it sits about the middle of my butt in the back. But when it's zipped closed, it bunches up in an awkward way in the back of the coat. It's almost like there's too much material in the back in general. I really appreciate the wider shoulder seams, especially for being able to wear thicker sweaters with this coat. However it's too much fabric. Like it should have tapered down to slightly narrower at the waist. Or been a little longer or shorter so it doesn't want to sit on top of my butt and bunch up. You can wear thicker sweaters with this coat but you will look like the Michelin Man, particularly in the sleeves. I got a size small and tried it on with a thicker puff sleeve sweater and it fit. A little bit snug but not too bad. But my arms looked a little silly. Overall I'm torn as to whether or not I'm going to keep this coat. I've been wanting a heavy shearling coat for cold weather but I want to be able to zip it closed. And for the price, I'm just not in love with it.

I love my new sheepskin bomber jacket! It's beautiful and extremely well-made. Definitely for cold weather as it's very warm.
