The Jane bomber is your cozy everyday jacket that raises the bar on winter warmth. Made from fine UK Merino shearling sheepskin for a cushiony exterior and a plush sheepskin interior, our trusty bomber includes a removable shearling hood and a shearling-trimmed collar with a buckle strap for snug insulation. This front-zip jacket features leather piping, contrast stitching, hand-warming pockets, shearling trim at the collar, hem, and cuffs, and buckle straps that adjust the waist for warmth and a comfortable fit.

This coat is temperature rated to 1°F in moderate activity, such as walking.

Hi - is the jacket waterproof?

Answer:

While sheepskin is naturally water-resistant due to the natural oils in the skins and the tanning process, it is not waterproof. In the event that it would get wet, simply shake the excess moisture off of it and hang it to dry, away from any direct heat sources, and it will be good as new.

Great coat. Tiny pockets

I ordered the black on black coat in medium (5'9", 35x26x39). I love the coat! It's really warm for Chicago wet/snowy winters. I get complimented every time I wear it. It looks super chic and expensive. It has an oversized hood that is removable too. I love Overland jackets and coats because they are the only ones that I have found that accommodate my long arms. One thing that is annoying is that the pockets are ridiculously tight. I am not able to fit my phone and my hands (with gloves on) inside the pockets. Also, this coat is heavy! Definitely not suitable for anywhere where you have to keep your coat on or hold on to it.

Great quality

I bought the jacket for my daughter for Christmas. I know she's going to love it. She has had her Eye on it for months now. It's going to be a surprise. I tried it on and it will fit her. I plan to buy myself a jacket.

Don't hesitate

This jacket is perfect! It is so warm and I've gotten so many compliments on it already. I am typically size S, sometimes wear M, and decided to get this jacket in M for a more oversized look. It fits exactly how I wanted it to. There is also plenty of room to wear a thick sweater or sweatshirt underneath. LOVE IT!

Heavy

Heavy jacket but so comfy. My bestie has this in the brown color and I tried it on in the XXL. I'm glad I did because usually I'd be an XL based on the sizing info, but the XXL fit perfectly. I bought it in the black color and love the look and feel of it on. Can't wait to surprise her on a winter outing!

A WOW piece

I have admired this online for quite some time. I saw it in person and tried it on and bought it. The quality is impeccable. I love that it has a detachable hood. I am 5'4" , 145 and bought the medium. The sleeves are bit long, but cuffed they are perfect.
