James Distressed Leather Jacket

Overland's made in the USA coats are a little bit better fitting and quality for a slim/slender person. I own this James, the Black McKinley, Palamino Jack Frost, the Carlsbad (in both green and black), and the Blue Zachary. This coat is a little less form fitting than the Carlsbad, but is definitely luxurious. As far as weather goes this fits the same type climate (35-55F) as the Carlsbad but more casual and loose fitting. I bought this Rustic James because of the rustic color. Bottom line is that if you buy this you'll love it everyday. I would strategically buy their US line based on climate and color variability. You won't want similar coats of similar color for the same type weather. I would also order 3 sizes in the window of your size to make sure you get the right fit. Fit is kind. Bad fit and it doesn't matter how nice the coat is. You won't wear or like it. The Omaha Overland team is great and helped me so much get the right fit and they really extended themselves to help me and I'm grateful.

Materials and craftsmanship are great....design is above the norm. Style is outstanding.

I have been lax in reviewing my purchases so I'll try to remedy that situation starting here. I thought I had 4 Overland coats but actually it's 5, and will be 6 after this week. The quality of all the coats or jackets I have purchased is beyond anything else I've tried. I purchased this jacket as something I could wear in 3 seasons and it's more than lived up to the challenge. It's so comfortable you forget it's on, and I am seriously considering picking up the other color. My only regret is not discovering Overland earlier in my life. Yes they can be pricey but once you buy one you will understand why. I only buy the products made in the USA because in my opinion they are always a better fit. If considering purchasing take your time deciding, because once you put one of these on you'll want more.

Just what I was looking for.....the craftsmanship is impeccable......usually wear a size 40, but exchanged it for a 38.....fits very well.....can't wait for cooler temps to wear it.
