A well-crafted leather jacket is one of life’s simple luxuries. The James is meticulously made from smooth, supple English lambskin nubuck and the body is lined with 100% wool for in-between-season warmth. Zip in the insulating shearling collar and bib to beat back the chill when the wind picks up, and stow your keys and cards in the 2 zip chest pockets. Contrasting lamb trim gives this classic zip-front style a handsome finish.

I love this jacket

I was in Jackson, WY right before Labor Day, it was raining and there wasn't much to do. I walked into the store and this was the first thing I noticed. I tried it and it felt fabulous and I looked even better. Then I looked at the sleeve for the price. I had never spent anywhere near that for a jacket or even a topcoat. I came back home and debated for 2 months whether to get it. Would I wear it enough? Finally I decided to treat myself and I'm so glad I did. I get compliments whenever I put it on.

Luxurious Leather

The James jacket is very well made, with no visible imperfections and what feels like superior materials. It is very warm when fully zipped with the bib liner in place. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Beautiful and lightweight.

The jacket is beautiful. The photos here do not due it justice. The zip in collar gives you warmth when you need it but taken out it's just as gorgeous. Have both colors and leave the collar in for one and out for the other.

Great Experience

I was greeted by Dan shortly after walking in the store (Jackson Hole) and kicked off a great experience. He was very pleasant and spent time to explain a bit about the jackets I was looking at. He was able to work with me in determining what the differences were in the jackets, which helped me make an informed decision on my eventual purchase. The jacket itself is awesome and worth every cent that I paid for it. I'll be sure to pass along the name of the store (and Dan) for any of my friends that may travel to the area.

Great Jacket! Love the removable shearling collar.

I think this will be a great jacket for fall and winter in NJ. The removable collar makes it more versatile. The quality of this jacket is obvious by touch and feel. I think it will last a long time. Recently used it during a tour of Blue Hill at Stone Barns where we toured the farms and pastures prior to our meal and I was perfectly comfortable in 10 degree weather.
