Quality, Craftmanship, and Tradition
I'm 48 years old and I love The Holden coat because of its long slim form fitting European fit. It's extremely classic and stylish and very functional in weather below freezing. It elevates your style beyond the boring ski jacket. With this coat you have warmth + class. However, for temps above 35-40F I would recommend the Carlsbad. This coat fits well sitting down or in your car and doesn't bunch up around the neck and shoulders. The bottom button is positioned perfectly so you can comfortably sit down. You also don't get "hot" when you go into a building to get out of the cold. You could wear this inside at room temp for sometime and not start to sweat. I wear mine with a long sleeve shirt and i'm comfortable. This coat isn't useful for an overcoat where you'd wear a suit underneath. Not speaking negative about The Holden, but it's their more basic longer coat. If you want more detail I'd recommend the Daniel for the same weather and then the Carlsbad for weather above 40F. I own both. You won't be disappointed if you bought it.
