Highlands Forest Edition Sheepskin Coat

Absolutely love this coat. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Will enjoy for years to come.

This is a stunning top quality coat - you get what you pay for. I was a little apprehensive about purchasing the forst color but after receiving the coat, I could not be more pleased. The merino wool is soft, plush, and very warm. This is the type of coat that can be mated with various styles of dress. I order size 46 and find it to be true to size. Exceptional product!

I love this coat. I was a little worried about the color, considering the cost, but I couldn't be happier. Yes it has a tinge of green to it, but it really translates as"tobacco " to me and my female friend. Regardless, the coat is well made and very comfortable. It drapes a little large in the upper arms, but I would expect that in a sheepskin coat. I love the lined pockets too. Overall, I find the coat to reflect the craftmanship and quality that you would expect in coat of this price point. It doesnt scream the price, but it does translate the quality which I prefer. I am very happy wearing this with Jean's and a ball cap and knowing the quality that I am wearing is my little secret.

I waited years to purchase this exclusive Overland-made coat. I have tried on other "similar" coats from high end men's clothiers and from Or___; while all are very nice shearling coats, this coat is in a class all by itself atop the rest, period. I received this coat and a competitor coat at home on the same day......its was not even a close decision. Like I said, it is in a class by itself and is a simply spectacular "investment" quality garment I will enjoy for many many years to come.

I have been eyeing this model line for the past 2 years, although an expensive purchase, the quality level of this product is unmatched, which definitely justifies the price. I am getting older, and the thing I have noticed about my purchases have been on products that will last 10 to 15 winters, and this jacket it most definitely one of them. The leather used was of high quality, with no visible scaring, or defects noted. The buttons were of high quality matching the jacket design. The zipper is stout, and seems to have been designed to stand the test of time. The stitching is amazing with the look of a handmade product. I tried on both the forest and black versions of this jacket, I found the black to be a bit too formal for my tastes, the forest (and most likely the coffee) colors were a bit more casual and could be worn easily with jeans.
