Nice Coast, But Not as Fantastic as I was Hoping

It's a really nice high quality jacket, but I just didn't think it looked as good on me as I was hoping, or as good as it the pics. Looked/felt a little more like a German military coat. So I don't want to say anything bad about it, as it is a beautifully made jacket, but just not as nice on me as in the pics.

Coat not as pictured

The sheepskin coat in the catalog and online was not the coat I received. The outside was the brown color however the inside was a dirty gray color. This contrast was not appealing. I ordered a size 44, same size I order in all other coats for my husband, and size was huge. I had a 6'2, 210 # guy try it on for me and he was swimming in it. This is not the quality or sizing that I am accustomed to. I have returned this coat and will visit a store before I purchase again. Our family loves Overland products however this coat was a disappointment.

Beautiful but thin

This jacket is beautiful. The exterior finish is very nice looking and very soft. Unfortunately the sheep's wool interior is on the thin side and not very soft. I think in normal dress you will be good down to about 30, with a warm sweater you can go further. For a walk from the heated house to heated car to heated iffice ir store you should be fine. But I took a mile walk in it jist now, 31 degrees out with a simple dress shirt underneath and I wasn't cold but I wasn't warm either. It cuts the wind very well. Fit is fine, I always have to get things tailored (48 chest 34 waist) and this is no different, it has an average cut for an overcoat. It would easily be a 5 star if it had thicker and warmer sheep's fur.

Cold weather is here

Its perfect for the cold out side my horse is jelice after I put it over his neck an back he was nodding then I took it back an he just looked at me as if to say really.
