Heritage Canvas and American Bison Leather Duffel Bag

The bag is beautiful. It is the perfect size for a long weekend comfortably fitting four days of clothes and a pair of shoes. Perfect size for overhead bin. It is slightly taller/slimmer than a traditional more cylindrical duffel bag shape which unexpectedly works well since you can safely pack a laptop/ipad/documents in it as well. Because of this, I have used it occasionally as a hybrid briefcase and gym bag. The outside pockets are also very useful for stashing my phone, wallet, earbuds, etc. For those familiar with old Gokey bags, it is a similar quality bag that is a bit more dressed up due to the beautiful leather. I found the bag while I was looking for a replacement for an old gokey bag. I did not want to order through Orvis (which bought Gokey) and think that this bag is an improvement on the Gokey and certainly on the new Orvis bags. The only word of caution is that I got caught in the rain with it and the water did slightly mark the leather; however, that is completely my fault and understandable. It just makes the bag look more broken in and some quick leather conditioner should help with this. In summary, the bag is great. I love that I can use it for its intended purpose of short trips as well as more of a utility bag for the office/gym.
