Made of Spanish Merino lamb shearling, this sheepskin vest is lightweight, durable, and extremely warm. The shearling inside has been treated for a unique two-tone silver effect and has a luxurious, silky feel. Perfect for cool-weather layering, it boasts a heavy-duty antique brass zipper with a six-snap storm flap to keep the wind out. Italian calfskin trim on the collar, banded slip pockets, and inside the storm flap give this sporty vest a handsome touch. Two inside zip pockets stash your keys, cash, and cell phone safely. With quilted stitching throughout.

Fuzzy, cozy, warm leather vest

Overall quality of the vest is very good. The design and fit is also good for my body frame. Comes with 2 side pockets on the outside that are excellent hand warmers. Also comes with 2 inner pockets. However I didn't like the way these 2 inner pockets were loosely attached to the inner lining on the side closer to the zipper with only 2 small straps of leather. Other than that zippers seem to be quality built that should last a long time. I never had doubts about Overland's zippers as on other items like coats.

Incredible Quality, Awesome vest!

I'm surprised to not see any other reviews. This vest is beautifully made, with substantial attention to detail. I was surprised at how light it is. I was suspecting a very heavy vest, but this is the ideal weight for Fall thru Spring, in cool-cold temperatures (probably not as good on a really cold day). I like vests because of the freedom of movement they give me, and this vest is light enough, and cut appropriately roomy, to allow me to move freely in it. It's pricey, but high quality craftsmanship does not come cheap, and this will last me a lifetime.
